有人說申請大學的essay可以用模版寫。寫College Essays哪有模版的，文書Essay注重的是內容和描述自己獨特的故事。每個人能寫的故事當然都不同。不可以用同一模版寫文書，大學招生官難道看不出？
順便再解釋一下，SAT/ACT的作文分數要盡量高分。這樣，大學招生官會更相信文書的真實性。

底下是UC 的文書第三題題目: 我有問過紅石的Dave Lough(之前UC申請材料審查官)，他說這一題350個字最主要是考查申請者某一項能力的特殊性與培養此能力的堅持與熱情。以下是我們的提醒。
UC Essay # 3. What would you say is your greatest talent or skill? How have you developed and demonstrated that talent over time? (350 words)
a. The prompt is pretty clear about asking for a single "greatest talent," so the essay needs to focus on one, specifically. A variety of tangential talents or semi-related activities will hurt, not help, this essay.
b. The point of this topic might not actually to see how talented you are. UC gives this prompt for two reasons: to figure out if you are passionate about anything in the real world and to assess whether you have the focus and resilience to build proficiency in it on your own.
